Annual Fund Drive

In December of each year, PYAC conducts an appeal to the community for donations in support of helping PYAC carry out our mission. Each year the board selects a theme for the year that helps illustrate the work that we do within our organization.  The campaign is kicked off with a formal dinner celebration on the first Friday of December and is followed up by a general appeal for support to all within our community.

Recognition Levels:  (All levels of gifts are greatly appreciated)

• Platinum members: gifts of more than $501

• Gold members: gifts from $251-$500

• Silver members: gifts from $101-$250

• Bronze members: gifts up to $100

Community Kids Carnival

PYAC would like to invite you to an afternoon of family fun! Please join us at the PHS football field for a carnival complete with food, games, and inflatables. Admission to the event is free but inflatables and games will require a wristband, available for purchase at the gate. We will also have a great selection of silent auction items available for parents to browse & bid on! • PRIZES: Anyone can win! Simply attend the PYAC community kids carnival on Friday, 5/31 and play all of the great games below. Each time you play a game you will get a prize card “punched.” Each card needs to be “punched” 15 times. The number of “punches” varies by the game and your success at it. Once you have yours punched, you simply put your name and phone # on the card and put in the drawing box for whichever prize you would like a chance to win. The more games you play and the better you do at them will dictate your odds of winning! The only way to ensure you the maximum number of chances to win is to purchase an unlimited attractions wrist band ($20 or $15 for 6yrs and under) which will allow you to play all of your favorite games multiple times, as well as playing on all of your favorite inflatable attractions.

• GAMES: The following is a sampling of the games that will be available: Bolo Toss, Compound Bow Shoot, Bean Bag Toss, Sack Races, Cake Walk, Putt Putt Golf, Horseshoes, Disc Golf Throw, Balloon / Darts, Strike 3 Baseball, 1st and 10 Football, Jumbo Field Goal, and more!

• FOOD & SILENT AUCTION: Adults don’t worry -- we haven’t forgotten about you. In addition to being able to watch your children have an incredible evening of fun, we also have some attractions for you. We will have all of the classic carnival foods (hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones) as well as an awesome silent auction. Auction items will range from sports memorabilia and sporting goods, to candles and retreats!

Firewood Project

For the past several years the PYAC board has put on work clothes, rolled up their sleeves, and done a ton of work to help support our organization's mission. Perhaps one of the most challenging yet most rewarding fundraisers that we do is cut, split, and sell firewood. What started as a modest project in 2001 with only 4 cords sold has now grown into a project that has sold over 1,000 cords (over $200,000!) in the past 23 years! This year we have a goal of matching last year’s total of 100 cords! If you would like to be involved in this project (donate wood, equipment, or time) please call or email us to let us know. To order wood, simply call PYAC at 541-929-4040 or email at pyac@pyac.net.

*There will be a $25 delivery fee for all orders delivered under 2 cords.
