Childcare

PYAC offers childcare both during the school year (STARS) as well as during the summer (Fun in the Sun).

STARS

STARS (Super Time for Art, Recreation, and Sports), our enriched childcare program, is offered after-school each day at Clemens Primary School, from after school until 6:00 p.m. We are open early on Fridays to coordinate with the school schedule. Kindergarten through 4th grade students are eligible for care. Snacks and planned activities are provided each day.

On select non-school and in-service days, PYAC offers a separate childcare program. We are open from 7:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m. and the cost is $50/day. You must register ahead of time for in-service day care. We must have a minimum number of kids signed up to be open. Please call ahead to help us plan. We will offer two snacks, and you send a sack lunch for your child. For more info, call STARS at 541-760-3563.

Full Time (M-F until 6:00 pm):                 $325/month

Early Pick Up (M-F until 4:30 pm):          $275/month

Drop In (select days until 6:00 pm):           $30/day

Limited scholarships are available.

FUN IN THE SUN

Registration for 2024 is OPEN!

Fun in the Sun is an all-day summer camp, offered by PYAC for children entering 1st grade through age 12.  The program offers full-time care and drop-in care.

We have weekly themes and activities including: sports, games, reading, swimming, field trips, science experiments, and arts & crafts projects. We will be offering a detailed itinerary, available at the beginning of each week of camp.

Registration is now open, and families can register at any point during the summer. 

Register before May 17th to avoid a $25 registration fee!

Our 2024 camp will begin on Wednesday, June 19th, and will run through Friday, August 23rd. Camp will be held Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily for children entering 1st grade through 12 years old.

*It is important to have all of your registration information turned in by May 23rd. Though we will accept new registration forms all summer, we have to accept registrations on a first come, first serve basis. We will be accepting full time campers first, and accepting drop ins if space is available. We are not allowed to have more than 50 children in attendance at any given time, which may lead to a waitlist for certain days.
